Willow's Crystal Cauldron along with our friends at In The Eyes of March from
Etsy.com, will be hosting a two day BackYard Sale at the HarvestMoon Covenstead
in Ontario, CA. Dates are Saturday, June 30 to Sunday, July 1 from 10am to 5pm.
Magickal supplies, used books, jewelry, custom hair falls, handmade yarns and
lots of fun stuff. We maybe adding a few more artisans and maybe some readers
to the mix, so more posts will be going out about the event as details develop.

About our coven
The Coven of the HarvestMoon is a group of initiates and active students. Our Symbol is the 8 rayed star. Initiates receive an 8 pointed star pendant upon 1st degree initiation. The 8 pointed star is a Gnostic symbol, known as the octagram of creation. It is related to Venus, and also sacred to Ishtar. In Nordic traditions the octagram is used to invoke magick and also as a protecting ideogram. Chaospheres have 8 points - order (90 degrees) and chaos (45 degrees). Each point of the 8 rayed star will represent goals and objectives we will accomplish as an order and as individuals.

As an initiate ascends to Priesthood, the 8 pointed star is replaced with the 9 pointed star, indicating the 9th ray of Priesthood.
